Our campground annex for wellness, natural history, and adventure
Headwaters Basecamp is a campground which celebrates our natural history by providing access to, and stewarding 10 acres in the headwaters of the great Winooski River at Sunny Brook.
From this Basecamp, we connect guests to our farm and forest up the mountain, as well as with surrounding watershed’s lakes, rivers, and streams by canoe.

Springs
As a remnant of our glacial past, our campground is flanked by the cold, clear mountain spring waters of Sunny Brook, and in places is cooled by cavernous underground tributaries, forming springs across the landscape.
